CLEAN CLEAN is a collaborative movement of organizations and individuals with the common goal of implementing a new energy future.

This Is Reality A web site dedicated to reducing the use of coal. (This is an unusual web site but it couldn't hurt to sign up.)

Student Environmental Action Coalition (SEAC)'s petition. A very effective group in the '90s. Site is a bit dated.

Save our environment.org Includes a list of petitions on environmental subjects. Count on them for timely alerts.

World Wildlife Fund's Earth Hour Here city lights are turned off for 1 hour. Click on the signup button in the upper right hand corner and be counted.

Audubon Society Audubon Society's action signup. They are as good as the Sierra Club.

Environmental Defense Fund EDF 500,000 concerned citizens. Get updates and action alerts on environmental issues. Also, a table showing which fish have the most mercury. Click on "seafood selector" on the home page.

The Climate Project Gives free presentations on climate change, especially to schools. Just schedule a presentation and then do a couple of events (with press releases) that will get into the paper to promote the presentation. Flyers are also good.

The 2% solution Sierra Club's student group's 2% solution. Sign the petition.

DeSmogBlog A blog on anti/anticlimate change articles. If you are arguing with someone about the validity of the idea of climate change, this is the site. Also, a good article on the mechanics of climate change (article). My simple explanation of the effect of CO2 is (here)

The Daily Grist A humorous daily newsletter. It will keep you up to date on all things environmental. It has many articles on climate change.
